Qualified low-speed electric and low-speed gas bicycles may operate on municipal streets subject to certain conditions following the application, inspection, and approval of a permit. The owner must submit the application to the Police Department who will inspect the bicycle. Once approved a $20 registration fee must be paid to the City Clerk's office to receive the permit that shall be attached to the registered bicycle.

Permits are due and payable each January 1st.
