The City Manager is the chief operating officer of the City, and is responsible for the day-to-day administration. Policy direction is given by the City Council, and it is the city manager that ensures that the City takes the necessary steps to see that policy is implemented. The manager prepares the City budget for submission to the council, and is responsible for oversight of expenditures and personnel decisions.
Mr. Mahle joined the City of Centralia as City Manager on January 2025.
